Set back from the Rue du Rhin, the architecture selected by architects Edith and Olivier Girard for “Cristal Parc” wonderfully brings out the contrast between the old and the contemporary, the Haussmann-style buildings that are much in evidence in the district highlight the modernity of its façade, its bow windows and its long picture windows. This mutual enhancement is one of the residence leading features. The other strong point is, without doubt, the play on transparency evident from the hall and which allows for a view of the restful interior garden.
Later, when night falls, a curious ballet of light is produced around the two buildings, one towards the garden, the other towards the street; a cleverly orchestrated interplay of colors, each floor sending out a differently colored shade of light.
