With nearly 10 tennis clubs, a dozen riding clubs, the Gassin Golf Club, with its technically and strategically challenging 18-hole course, and the Beauvallon Golf Club, laid out over 40 hectares and offering unrestricted views of the villages of Grimaud, Gassin, Ramatuelle and Saint-Tropez, the sporting options on offer here are many. Air and water sports, too, are very popular on the peninsula. Sailing, catamaraning, parascenting, kite-surfing, water scootering, fishing and yachting in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez are just some of the experiences waiting to be tried. Some sites also offer scuba diving. While those yearning for an even greater sense of freedom can rent a boat or yacht for a few hours or a few days and gaze back at their little world from the horizon.

Worth noting:
The Yacht-Club International de Port Grimaud regularly organises regattas, including the "Trophée de Port Grimaud - Cité Lacustre" held every year at the end of August.

Culture

The burnt sienna soil and pink-ochre façades of Port de Saint-Tropez harbour treasures just waiting to be discovered. Numerous artists exhibit in Grimaud and Saint-Tropez: paintings by Philippe Pastor, Georges Rouault, monumental sculptures by Manolo Valdes, Rabarama. The villages on the peninsula host a range of events. Ramatuelle, with its Théâtre de Verdure, welcomes leading actors and authors, offering a rich and varied programme of contemporary, classical, dramatic and comedy works. Jazz festivals, Chasse aux Papillons in the Vallée des Maures, cinema, music … the schedule of festivities is extensive.
