Jazz beneath the "Pinède"

So close to Nice, so close to Cannes, Antibes Juan-les-Pins… words that are impossible to say without already feeling the sand between your toes and hearing sounds of jazz mingle with the hum of crickets amid the "Pinède" (pine trees). This is a city fully dedicated to the Mediterranean, to the sun and to music.You could try to live the simple life in Antibes, but it’s impossible – here, everything is captivating.

The yachts of Port Vauban

See, too, if your eyes can not be drawn to the most luxurious yachts in the world, lined up in Port Vauban. You could pace the alleyways of the ramparts here a thousand times without ever getting tired, then visit Rue du Safranier in old Antibes, home to the artists’ community that bears its name and to more than a few splendid restaurants.
But night is already upon us and the lapping of the waves against the rocks signals that it’s time to take a rest, or rather time for everyone to get ready for the night that beckons and the partying in Juan-les-Pins. Antibes never sleeps, or if it does it does so with one eye, and the other constantly keeping track of what’s going on all around.
